Bergið Headspace

For young people on young people's terms

Bergið headspace provides free counseling and support for young people aged 12-25, without conditions or referrals. All of Bergið's counselors are licensed professionals with five years of university education, as well as extensive experience working with young people. The service is a low-threshold solution and involves early intervention. No problem is too small or too big.

Bergið operates in Reykjavík, Hafnarfjörður, Kópavogur, Mosfellsbær, and Akureyri.

The facilities are wheelchair accessible. Counselors speak Icelandic and English. You can get sign language interpretation and language interpretation if you need it.

Bergið is open on weekdays from 9 to 17. Outside opening hours, you can send an email to bergid@bergid.is.

The Sick Love Chat

The Sick love chat is an anonymous chat for young people who seek advice about their relationships, communication or violence.
